Ride Home

The ride home made up for the shitty experiences on our ride in:) Don't get me wrong when I get bent all outta shape.....I'm about as much of a fighter as I am a Cat. 1 road racer. I'm much more likely too fucking freak out on someone with Izzy in tow just because well I'm pulling a child and you the driver should respect that. Its all good nobody's gotten hurt no harm done. The wind yesterday made for a good workout heading towards the dam and then home with Izzy in tow. I may just commute my ass into some sort of decent shape:) We didn't get to go across the dam, we talked too a Army Corp. worker and she seemed purdy adamant about the ROAD BEING CLOSED. So the plan of photos and a beer at thee Boat House changed to a safety break at Sycamore Access and a beer break at Picketts Pub off Merle Hay Rd.

Kyles Bikes....stopped for some air and a short bsing......shortly after we left I flatted the rear tire. Purdy good first of the for the commuter:)

Entrance too Cottonwood....Lady says road is CLOSED to ALL traffic....I really didn't want too push my luck with the Amry Corp folks....they really aren't very happy people.

safety breaks are good:)

A sweet little dive bar....

no imports in this dive....they never even heard of Fat Tire....too damn funny:)

this was freaking awesome:)

rolling into Karen Acres Park off of Roseland Drive....this is a very tight fit with the burly on back...Teri actually had to pick the burly up to get me through this last tight corner....

Drove in today as Teri is working late, I'll be riding home if its not down pouring. Working the shop tonight...yippy!!

Peace

How about a "Baby on Board" sign on the trailer?

7723 Dellwood. camper in the driveway is tough to miss. my street basically runs into the little sidewalk leading to that bridge. trail at the other end of my street, too.

I've been taking urb ave, beaver, 31st, grand into work and then taking grand, MLK, cottage grove, kingman, 48th, urb ave, etc. home.

Our building is supposed to flood and I have to deal with that, so I drove today.

Andy that is exactly what Teri said...my response is....ARE COMMON CITY FOLK SO FUCKING STUPID THAT THEY DON'T KNOW WHATS INSIDE A TRAILER BUILT TOO PULL BEHIND YOUR BIKE....ITS NOT A FUCKING KEG!

Peace

But most of them have one cycling experience and that is RAGBRAI, so yes, they do think it's a keg :)

Mine carries groceries. :) I get a wider berth towing that to the store than if I put the goods in panniers.

I think a Baby on Board sticker would give you a wider berth from ignorant drivers.

I like your Fat Tire comment. It sounds similar to the time a friend from Ireland was trying to order a shot of Tullemore Dew and then Bushmill from a small town bartender on ragby. The barkeep had no clue what that was.
