The Weekend Flew Bye...

Rassy Woolies are Fucking SaWheat!!

Friday afternoon/evening started the weekend off great. I stopped at the shop cause some of the Woolies showed up and of course I wanted too pimp mine at Sweet Janes Birthday party @ The Bike Kollective downtown that night. After a few beers I was home bound to sober up for Saturdays Hundy. Up and out the door around 8am I was heading to see my Dad down in Warren County as he was working. So no ride to his house. Stopped at Summerset State Park to see how the work day was going on CITA's newest piece of single track. The trail is going to be tough:) Great work guys! After hanging a bit I went on my way to talk with the Old Man. This would be where I encounter the shittest gravel road of the day....160th Ave had HUGE ruts in it. Hung out with Dad for a few then started my way back too Des Moines as I had 36 miles in, by the time I got home my computer read 75.2 miles in just 5:22:08. My legs were trashed...the head wind killed'm:) I thought I would eat some grub then go back out for the other 25 miles to get me hundy in. After eating I wasn't gonna do shit except sit on the couch with my legs elevated....I was done, my legs where cooked. Good news is I still had time to knock out the remaining 25 miles in the morning if Teri and I got up early. We did not:) We did get thirty miles in but alas it wasn't with in the 24hr time....I'll see what Dave has too say....maybe he'll feel generous and squeek me in for the hundy. All in all a great weekend. Sounds like brutha Cam took the win @ Spoke Pony this weekend good job brutha! I believe it was his first time on the course:) 2 more days and its Moab time....I need to start getting my shit together....
Biatholon anyone??

This explains the nice new wool jersey DQ was wearing on Friday at the shop. I want mine!!! :) Good job on the ride dude. You still got the metric in, so you're still in the one a month club

Good on ya mate! That wind was BRUTAL Saturday. I stuck to the woods for the most parts.

I know you'll be graveling that trike before long. Check www.bikerodnkustom.com for inspiration, etc. Later!
