If you are looking for somewhere different to ride try the Big Creek trails. Snowmobiles run over the trails so they are somewhat packed down, definately not fast but an unbelievable workout. Spent Sunday afternoon with the Logans working hard to stay upright. The trail is one big loop and can be access from the small parking lot 1/4 miles past the entrance to Big Creek.
Off to set the RAGBRAI route, enjoy.

Looks like fun building those ski bikes Squirrel.
Squirrel, as you probably know today is national squirrel appreciation day. Thought I'd let you know you and your blog are appreciated. Let the Cowbell ring.
Thanks for the help with my bike this weekend!
I gotta agree with Duffy on the snowmobile trails up at Big Creek. I rode a lap there a couple of weeks ago after two hours at the center trails. A lof of work, but a lot of fun as well, especially some of the downhill runs.
That said, bring on the gravel this weekend :)
Squirrel, please leave me a comment if you are riding north and I will try to meet you on the course.
