Change of Race plans!

The plan was to race thee Almanzo next weekend, a super awesome 100 mile gravel race in Rochester MN. But I've now changed the plan to doing the 7hr race at Boone instead...practice,practice,practice:) The Stumpy and I are still trying to find the right saddle, I love my Selle Italia DD Pro's but they haven't made them in like 3yrs. I was at Kyles Bikes last week, he let me test ride a couple of the WTB's (DEVO and DEVA) but they (ALL) have some sort of cut through the middle, my ass don't dig that shit! Good ole' boy Jedi Jed has loaned me a Bontrager Race Light that is pretty cushy and light so I'll be ridding it next weekend to see if it could be the one:) Teri and I are planning on riding Boone tomorrow afternoon, up for a few laps then who knows, maybe get lucky and find some morels while taking a piss or something. We'll be taking the camper up there on Friday through Sunday the following week for the race so it should be a fine ass time. Think I may leave early today as well. Brought the Stumpy in for the ride home, rain maybe, so an early leave may afford me time to hit Targhetto and Center both. Been riding Targhetto the last 3 days, scouting TT course and finding morels:) The TT should be a good time totally different set up to past years with the point to point. Hoping to talk to the VP of the Tia Dam community for permission on using the old brickyard...I've found some really sick lines up there....like a 40foot steep ass drop that would put the pucker in some folks asses:) Enjoy its Friday!

Peace

Brooks Swift... Lighter and softer than the Bonebreaker and no annoying holes in the middle.

Have fun this weekend Squirrel. Looking forward to the TT course, although I don't need any more trail features named after me...
