Not as Easy as I thought it would be...

Getting back into a structured training routine after a 4 yr. hiatis is well...not as simple as I thought it would be. Give me time cause I will come around. Training rides will be solo from now on...its just to hard to train in a specific zone while riding with other folks. I simply have to accept this. Kinda like growing my hair back out into its shagginess....it takes time oh young one:) Have an awesome BRR and drink a couple Bud heavies for me!

Peace

You have to ride with faster riders so stay away from slow people like me.

OR, or, or, (stay with me on this) you could play a game of tortise and the hare and see how many times you can lap me on the Booneville Loop. I bet its not more that FIVE times (that's right, I said it)

Yes, training is a lonely road. Thanks for sharing a bit of it with me ;)

The key is finding people that can ride in your zone or higher, or you meet with people at the start with the understanding that you might not see them until a rest or turn around point. My guess is gravel rides with Lou, Grelk, and Carlson would be good workouts for you.
