Lots and lots of Water

This is what thee exit of Rhythm should look like on a good day...

clicky too make larger for what the area looked like as of yesterday...there is maybe 5ft. below the bridge before you'd hit water....

connector from Squirrels Nest to Rhythm...under water...

entrance to Squirrel Nest and the Connector trail....under water..

a shot of Little Italy in Denmans from the tracks....I couldn't even spot the highest hill with binoculars....

So its very safe to say we're going to loose some more tread to the Raccoon. Most likely not be riding any of these 3 trails for a few weeks and that really depends on how much damage/ debree is going to be done/left behind for clean up. Hope you have a skinny tired bike:)

Peace

Time to give Banner some more love and burn in time. There's good gravel out to there.

I know I've ridden it more then a few times:) I'd be willing to bet the southern trail is under and the bridge may be in a much different location by now...but still good to ride out there and hit the northern side.

De-press-ing. Even when it does dry out it will be Mosquitolopis. I wonder how Banner is holding up. I think it is the last bastion of central Iowa singletrack. Boone must really be toast.

brutal photos...gravel taco ride?

Boone may be missing some bridges as well. While there isn't a river running through Sever Oaks, when the rain comes like it has this past week that creek becomes a river:( Gravel sounds good...

I'm down for gravel tomorrow night if it isn't raining.
