2hr Hard Effort into the Wind

Met up with Johnny and the Govn'r in Water Works for some black label, gravel, and city street riding. We took black label out too Adams st. then headed to the back side of Moffit Lake. We tried to go around the lake loop but it was still purdy wet so we bailed back out to thee pavement. Shot through Walnut Woods, back aross 63rd st. too the black label and back into Water Works, up and over the trestle bridge onto thee Connector Trail, across the tracks to Dirty Express, past Denmans and I was home in 2hrs with a good hard effort put in on the Graveler. Legs felt great and my knee didn't bug me at all:) Should be good for Sundays Hundy throw down....then its off too Moab for 5 days of nothing but sunshine and long miles of single track.

"Graveler"....she's old, she's very HEAVY, and once rolling she's purdy damn fast:)

rolling the Connector Trail back home....

We broke out the tandem for the first time last night and did some urban riding. Stopped by Zanzibar's for a warm beverage and headed back home about dusk. Good night to ride!

TNWC was a fun time last night. This weekend should be a hoot as well. Have fun in Moab, and send me your Hundy route from this weekend so I can post it. :)

achillies tenden...ouch, I am dealling with that right now as I type. I can't seem to figure it out. It really only hurts when I'm on the bike. Almost two weeks have past and still no healing. I am beginig to think that off-bike rest is in order, but TI is on the horizon...

Achilles pain is no fun. Lots of guys suffering from that right now. Mable and Jacobson to name a few. Take it easy and don't permanently injure yourself. There's always another year.
