When all of thee cool kids have Mountainsmith Packs with these Strappettes I found myself in utter jealousy....I wanted some fucking strappettes too. Only thing is Des Moines didn't have one single pair.... BackCountry...out....Active Endeveors...out.....only one thing too do today at work......Custom kiddies:)
My NorthFace Mt. Biker bag....its literally called that...didn't come with these cool ass strappettes
gonna need some thread.....this string that comes wrapped around our work rags will do...
gonna need some straps.....this is a baby backpacker....now no longer in use as Izzy is to big....now missing....
these sawheat ass strappettes:).....
now start sewing....which would only be two connectors like this one, and thee middle of thee straps on the back too keep them from tangling up.....
fifteen minutes and I'm done.....and I only spent $3.00....nice compared to the $30 bucks for the Mountainsmith strappettes that would have had to be customised anyway..
4 clips and they are completely removable....
nice think pads too....comfy....
Now lets ride biatches:)
Peace

Add some little wing hip pouches for food and you've built yourself a Wingnut.

Niiice! viva la DIY baby...
Good luck with the Hundy tomorrow!
Mojoe
Glad to see I'm not the only nut who sees these ways of doing things. Red Neck Tech! Currently working on a set of home made rollers, gonna be rad when done, and under $5.00! Ride that shit hard tomorrow! Later!
Don't Shit Yourself!!! That's Getto Engineerin' at it's finest! Nice work Squirrel. Way to show us how to get it done with style. Shit, if you didn't tell anyone you didn't spend under $20, nobody would have known. And you'd still enough $$ for a couple of sixers of 312. Sweet!
Have a great weekend!
Cheers,
MG
Ummm... I think I meant "over $20" there. Yeah. Maybe I should lay off the 312 myself?
Ahem...
Damn, I've got strapettes and I'm jealous. Nice work!
you're a fucking renaissance man! Nicely done!
Hey, have you seen this:

- thought of you when I was checking it out.
Not quite Ergon, not quite Wingnut, maybe Ergo Squirrelnut???
Nicely done Squirrel, you're always down for some McGuyvering, especially when it comes to bike shiat. Sorry I missed the hunde, Ann wanted some time to hang with her sister so I ended up on the human hamster wheel with Pig and Tony. 3 hours of that and now I'm even more ready to hit the trail tomorrow morning. Big Creek at 8am. I'm going to try to start a little early, like 7am and come back to get everyone. Hope the hunde went well, the weather sure was awesome. How did Fuller do, he getting stronger every week!
sweet.
You are like MacGuyver.
Squirrel,
Shoot me your e-mail. Might be able to make the 12 Hours of Blue Mound a bit more appealing (cheaper) for you. I've got a couple of ideas I want to run past ya!
