Sunday Church

Sunday mornings mass started with Pistol Pete, Master Lou, Cosmo, Jacob N, Andy L, Tony N, Jed G, and I meeting at the Center Trail for a cold mornings ride. I was running a little late so I actually ran into the guys heading out through Standard J-11. Was a very good day to work on yer tire drifting, almost every corner I would get a little/alot of drift.

Tire Drift= the point of max speed through a corner without sliding completely out and going down:) Today's pace was good for me, I haven't been doing any spinning at all and after the first lap I was a little light in the head:) 2nd lap was much better, once I got past Cosmo on "Loushous" I just found a good rhythm on the SS and kept it there. All in all 28.4 miles in just over 2hrs. Of couse I should have stayed out another lap as Cosmo did and does everytime he's there. Ride harder and longer then everyone else, I once heard a coach say and you'll be untouchable. Not for me, Cosmo on the other hand:) Time to go to work. Here are a couple skinny shots from fall last year.

Metal rail start

Off the metal rail, transfer to 4ft. concreate wall and ride till the end. If ya have enough speed you can wheelie drop and clean the sidewalk to a perfect grassy transition.

Johnny C gett'n some air

Nice wall ride. I wish we had more of that stuff around here, but the city planners have to stick a bush or a fence in front of everything. Burp it!

There is a ton of wall riding in Dead Moines, hell every bridge around here can be ridden. I've found some sweet drops that have a row of bushes in front.......hhhmmmm......loppers.

Peace
