FrostBike Part 2

This was a pretty cool experience. Nothing to spectacular with the exception of a couple bikes way out of anyone's price range that I know, but they were sweet. WTB the tire producer that I pimp the most, due to the Nano Raptor, I spoke with these folks for awhile about the Nano and it not coming in a UST tire, I was told some super secret things were in process. Then they showed me the Mutano Raptor which is a cross of the Nano with 2 of their other tires and it is UST, and also comes in 1.95,2.0, and 2.1. I've seen this tire in color pages of the book but I really like to see the tire its self and this one looks good, I'll definetly have a pair of 1.95 for racing this year. Next up was a Kenda tire that is new to the market the "Small Block 8" this thing resembles a super fast bmx tire to me that looks to be a great tread design for hard pack surface, gonna be super fast in da flats, although its all about holding speed through your turns mate's and this tire may not hold its own here. I'm gonna see if Greg will order a pair when they become available and we'll see. Jagwire coated/sealed cables....... yes the highend shat of cables. There are some specific's they have to figure out before the marketing launch, but when we left the booth it looks like I'll be one of many test goats none the less:) I was intimidated by all the black going on around the Surly crews area, I managed to ask one of them if Fat Tire was sold in Minnestota and to my dismay it wasn't, then I boogied out before becoming a victim:( I left with a little bit of schwag, although I seen some folks that got the A grade hook-up, like this guy. Thats all I have for now, I did take a pic. of a hot fixie that was there I'll post it later tonight.

Peace Mates
