Connector Dirt Work...
Rick and I threw down 3 hrs of black label on Saturday afternoon. Looks like the city is finally starting thee dirt work for the connector trail through Standard J-11...good new is it also looks as if they are staying up along the tracks for a straight shot:) Whats this mean....very little single track will be lost...like 300yrs....of thee straightest...which will be easy too either jump on thee black label to connect or run right along side of it. Spring time will tell the story.
Tom Anderson finished thee Hundy on Saturday....good job Tom....maybe he'll bless us with a short story I can put up here. While Tom was throwing down up here Grelk was also throwing down a hundy in his neck of thee woods....both of these mates had tough conditions....very windy day with high temps for some soupy roads.....so those of us going this weekend hopefully will have good weather...with most likely some bad road conditions...but hey.....we have all day right:)
Peace

Does a hundy on the trainer count? (Not that I threw one down, but I'm just curious?)
Nice job Horn! Are you still planning on Fruita/Moab? I better get riding or you will really make me suffer.
Nice shot of my ass there Squirrel! At least you didn't tell them about my slide for life on the ice... I've got a nice strawberry on my hip now.
Warm conditions? I think the wind chill took care of that for me. I saw mud once all day, and it promptly froze solid within the half hour.
See ya next weekend.

Pete, you roadie.
That little section asphalt along Walnut Creek will be done in late April and costs $356,975(!).
Sweet...now remind how much our single track cost. So I take it with thee new route...thee city couldn't find wetlands to replace on thee original routes cut..?
Peace
Singletrack costs about $11,000/mile if it is built by a contractor (like IMBA subs)... But, of course, we don't charge that to the City, do we?
:)
Ugh... trainer Hundy??? Anyone throwing down one of those should get some professional help. Gotta get my lazy butt out for more than a monthly century
Damn, $11,000 buys a helluva lot of beer....
