3 Doe with No Shots/ 36 Today...No Greys Yet/ Ankeny Gravel Tomorrow

Sat in the tree stand yesterday afternoon, 3 doe came out around 6:15. They wheezed before I even saw them so something spooked'um.....a few minutes later I saw a black cat jump up on a downed tree....must have been the cat. Got down around 7pm so I could go and scan the bean fields on me way out, saw 7 bucks with 3 of them looking nice enough for me wall. Always nice to see that there are still some takers on this public land. Tony Nichols if you read this....lets do some filming this year. There are some nice trees within 5yrds of my stands for you:) Ok enough with the hunting, Teri and I will be doing some Ankeny gravel tomorrow if'n any of you want some. Leave our place of work at 3pm for a couple hours of gravel goodness:) Map below
