Teri, Loushous, Kim, Sally & Jim Logan....a small group...kinda like our Taco Rides lately.

Westy rolled down....just for the photo of course:) You know how he likes the ladies:)

Gggrrr...

Layed back.....sippin on the Ole' Budwieser...looks like Izzy has had enough of the play pen:)
Saturday morning brought rain to our area, but that didn't stop Johnny C. and I from getting a few miles in before getting totally soaked:) We left my place around 7:30 and the rain was just a sprinkle....hit Denmans first...about half way through it started to rain much harder as it was making its way through the tree cover and now the trail was getting slick in the corners:) By the time we finished a Denmans, Rabbit Trail, Over the Tressel, and a Hill Side we were soaked to the bone. Upon exiting the Hill Side, we saw Steve Parvi and his father just unloading....was Dads b-day and they drove all the way from Colfax (I believe) so they we're going to give it a try....it was greasy as hell as we were leaving.....I wonder if they crashed? We then road up to the bunk house to hose the bikes and ourselves off....

Hose'nm down:) Damn it was dark..

love it, live it:)
Sunday Teri and I woke to rain again...so the Gravel Bacon Ride was off....We looked on the net and the rain was going to stop, we decided too hit the Urban Black Label for a big loop around the little city we live in. The City isn't dicking around with the Tressel to Tressel trail we road all that was black, although its not completely finished you can get to Johnston purdy easy now:)

Teri cruising just past Targhetto behind the car lot...

Anybody notice Teri has a tounge thing going on..

cruising the levey....which we used to race on for the Sycamore Time Trail....Maharry I know you lurck here....what are going to do this year for your race? Another intersting thing on out ride was just past the pond on the other side of the river. A couple had beached their boat on the sandbar for a nice nude sunny spot....why didn't I take a photo....dumbass...what was I thinking:) They sure looked to be haveing a great time and I must say I kind of felt like taking me clothes off too after that:)

black label ends for now at the Tree Nursery off of Lower Beaver...but you'd just as well roll it out to Beaver...

jump the gate and with a block of gravel the black label starts back up, then ends...

here....a little rough entry but rideable all the same:)

We loved these two despite that they were really wanting gravel today...oh well next Sunday we'll do a Bacon ride to Booneville:)

We rolled black label all the way back into the city for some chili and free Sunday pool at my old home town pub Ebeneezer Frogs, I slung drinks here for a year or two back in the nineties....good times for sure many of my freinds drank for free:)

a little safety break then home to relax....
I hope your weekend was as good as ours:)
Tonight is the 1st Monday Night Fixie ride...meet at Mars Cafe', 6:30pm...see you there mates!!
Peace

Squirrel we were out on the back side of Raccoon River when the rain hit. We had to ride back from there to Caribou on Mills Civic...soaked. I think the Caribou chicks could see how wet we were being as though they handed out kitchen towels to each of us while drinking coffee. Pretty fun nonetheless.
yeah, Saturday was cool... I don't know what it is, but when the rain is coming down on a Saturday morning I just love to go for a ride... I must have just missed you guys down at Center... waiting for Sam, but, of course, he wasn't showin' up in the rain... love the yellow fenders on the Traveller... looks like you could be a State fan w/ that bike!
