Saturday & Sundays Rides...

Saturday Teri and I hit the Booneville gravel loop as the day was perfect...38 miles....23 hills....and a time of 2:45:43

Booneville Rd....Gravel Goodness.....

as always the self portrait.......I mean come on.... I know there are alot of guys out there wanting to see photos of Teri:)

YUMMY GRAVEL...

Bummer way too die...I'm sure the cycotes didn't mind the easy kill...

A stop at the shop for an after ride brew...

One of my X-mas gifts came early...The North Face MTN BIKER waist pack.....Thank You Teri Sue:) This will be my bagage on Trans Iowa V3 as many of you readers know I'm not a huge fan of a loaded camelback....my rig as of right now to ride will be the 1981 Schwinn Traveler that was recently brought back to life:) No bottle holders....but there are two nice ones on that new bag of mine:)

Sundays Ride...I went out for a skillz ride instead of a long gravel...was all good:) Hooked up with Johnny C for a Denmans, and Squirrels Nest the trail was getting wetter so we bailed on the tressel bridge in the back of Squirrels Nest to hit some dirty ribbon else where....after Johnny and I split... I road to the playgroud to log it some and work on the backwards 180 thingy....I pulled it off 4 out 15 times...HELL YEAH.....total time in learning this new skill 1:45min...now just honeing that skill to be able to complete it everytime:) Next is the flatland rockwalk 360 thingy....

Thanks to Kyle Sedor and whom ever helped out on the newest obstacle in Denmans Woods....a great use of that old tire....

Bow Season just opened back up today so riding will once again be put on hold till I can fill my other 2 tags....just when I was getting into the riding groove again...no Fixie Ride for me tonight either....Bianchi has a vet appt.

Peace

Holy shit!!! That was pretty brutal. My legs and back felt it. But it felt GREAT, what a good feeling. Nothing like a little PAIN. I enjoy any minute I can ride with my wonderful husband who I adore SOOO much!!!! I'm starting to enjoy the gravel grinders.

No bottle holders...?? Hose clamps work great with old fashioned metal bottle cages.

No way, bruthah! Just coming along to support my buddies and meet some new ones. Maybe offer some volunteerism for Kerkove if he needs it.

hey man, the roadies the roadie. And for that matter, i'm an old roadie. it's my only ride with a defailure on it. i love doing "hilly" road rides, but we live along a river so it just doesn't quite work out. don't worry, once spring is here, the gears go away. FUCK, why am I defending myself, it's just one fucking bike amoungst a bunch of singles!

about last night's fixie fix: you missed some KILLER thai at "ban thai" [where taste of thailand used to be] at the ride's end, man. mmmmm...we're having lunch there today, i believe.

hope bianchi's okay.
