Basso put these three together and got a new course record of 17:41, 45 seconds knocked off his last years time in a 4.5 mile distance when he "was" riding a 26'r FS:) Loushous was also running his 29'r and placed 2nd in Wednesdays Dirty TT dubbed the Quarter Rage with a 18:02 only 1 second behind me original record set on a 26'r. Now damn it .......I had planned on not having to defend me title in me backyard woods knowing 18.01 was a good time.....but no.....not now.....now cometh the 29'r !! I believe that Basso's time will be a bitch to beat if its even beatable at all. I've never run the 29'r through these woods timed and I can say this with confidence.... Denmans Woods is my play ground, I will not be beat in me own back yard without a chicken fight:)
I went out yesterday afternoon on the Monkey in the lite rain and threw down a lap on the Rage course in 20:15......man I'm gonna have to lay off the beers and get some fucking EPO to take Petey down:)

Squirrel, as always I appreciate the good words. Spoke to Cam today, he says the course is a lot easier this year, the corners are wider and smoother. According to him, the time should be easy to beat...sounds like we need to get ol' Cam Kick-Ass-trick out for some Quarter Rage. (Bastard wouldn't even budge on giving me some props for laying down a sub-18.) What's a guy gotta do for a little love from his buddies?(simply a rhetorical question, not one to be taken literally of course).
