I had me an interesting ride home after work. The fixie and I we're just tooling it home in the 25mph wind tunnel minding our own bidness. I'm just about to 6th ave. & 54th st. in the bottoms of Saylorville township, when I hear the evil honking of some dumbass behind me. A red Neon blows by me down the hill to the stop sign...WTF... as I raise me hands a give'm the big bird. They take off on 54th which just happens to be the way I'm heading. Now in between 6th ave. & Morning Star dr. on 54th st. is a long stretch of flat hwy that I'm fighting the wind into and cussing those punks that just blew by while honking. Across the bridge a couple more cars blow by and stop up infront of me, while I'm watching this I notice the punks have turned around. Ok stop bike, get off bike, wait patiently by the side of the road for some bitch slapping.
The cars that parked occupants are now exiting their vehicles, while the red Neon blows by me again not even noticing that I'm stopped and prepared to throw down. Good, 3 large high school kids......I didn't want my ass kicked today anyway:) I mount back up and take back off into the wind. Passing the high school kids that had parked, they yell something as I go by so I lock it up and go back to find out we have a street race going down and they don't want me to get ran over.....how nice:) The Neon full of lard thinks its going to blow the doors off this 90's camaro, dumbass kids. I won't go no further cause we all know how this ends.
When I get too Urbandale & Beaver the rain starts, aaaaggghhh a nice spring shower to cleanse me of all my wrongs..... Naturally:) 20 miles and big smiles.
Just a little wet.
wanting more of this:) This was the last picture I took of the Ouachita trip. Makes for a nice screen saver:)
Peace

Great story. A few years back, I was at Laguna Seca Raceway for the Sea Otter Classic. Late one afternoon, after the bicylce racing was done for the day, I heard some motosports action going down on the race track. Formula 1 cars? Motorcycles? Neither. It was a bunch of souped up Dodge Neons. Very strange.
