OK'd for take off!!

This piece of paper lets this bad boy get out of Polk County and the State of Iowa, for some SS'n ass kick'n:)

Looks like the weather is starting to stir thoughts of snow for this weekends race......to hell with the snow!! Maybe I should bring the Ski Bike. Started packing some of my goods lastnight, Kelty 4 season tent...check, Kelty 0 degree mummy bag.....check, plenty O room for Fat Tire Ale (not sold in Iowa or Minnestota, but is in Missouri, Nebraska, and Illinois....WTF!!)......check, thats about as far as I got with the beers I had in me. Changed saddles on the Salsa SS to a more forgiving one, the Selle Italia SLR saddle is a little harsh on long hour rides:) Some of us locals will be camping after the race and hitting Crowder State Park on the way home to throw down on their awesome single track.

Salsa SS'n Godess

Today I'm ordering the lockout kit for the 04 Sid Race fork thats currently on Salsa. I'm going to need that when it comes to climbing in Arkansas, no boing, boing, boing for me:) I could run a rigid but I'm just a wussy, and I don't have one with disc. mnts. anyway. So fuck it:) I haven't ridden since Sunday, been working the day job then hitting Rassy's from 3-6pm, then pounding some buds after closing, then going home eating and passing out. I wonder if this will hurt my grand performance??:-) Oh fuck it:) Time for another cycling folk art pic.

Fire Poker, every cycling camper needs one of these simple to make items.

Peace
